Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund; four teams remain in the biggest club tournament in Europe. About a week ago we found out who will face who and battle it out for a spot in the Final at Wembley. Things couldn't be more exciting and we are already starting to warm up for the two giant clashes, which will take place on the 23 & 24th of April.
The remaining teams in the Champions League are from just two countries; as it is the two Spanish teams FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, who are facing up to German Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. After the draw last Friday, the fixtures are as follows:
- FC Barcelona vs. Bayern Munich (played on the 23rd of April)
- Borussia Dortmund vs. Real Madrid (Played on the 24th of April)
This years Champions League has already brought us a great number of thrilling and enthralling games and hopefully us football fans can look forward to even more spectacular games in the semi finals and final. Dortmund are still unbeaten in the tournament and have on their way to the semi finals already played Real Madrid twice, where they came out victorious once and drew the second.
Will you be helping Real Madrid as they try to secure a spot in the final, you can get your own shirt here.
Dortmund host Real Madrid at their famed and feared home ground, where they beat the Spaniards in the group stages. Ronaldo & co. must therefore be hungry for revenge and considering the Madrid-club also last year lost out in the semi finals, they will have an extra incentive there too. When you look at the club sponsors there is also a bit of a rival fight on the cards, as Dortmund dressed in Puma face the Adidas boys from Madrid.
Will you be showing your support for Dortmund on their path to the final? Get your shirt right here.
In the other semi final we see the tie, which is definitely being built up as the big one; FC Barcelona vs. Bayern Munich. By many the first of the two is considered the best team in the world of football and with profiles like Lionel Messi, Xavi and Iniesta that's hard to argue with. They would, however, be fools to underestimate the Bavarian's who have been unstoppable this year.
Do you want to see Messi & Co. in the final? Show your support with a shirt, which you can find right here.
Munich have been an all conquering force in Germany, winning the Championship with a record breaking 6 rounds left and with an absurd goal difference. FC Barcelona will be wearing their home kit from Nike, as they have the home advantage and this is why we expect to see Bayern Munich in their 3rd shirt from Adidas. Will it be Camp Nou that makes the difference?
Would you rather it was the German champions who went all the way, you can show it with a shirt, which you can find right here.
We could end up with an all Spanish final, a German Final, or of course a mix of both. Who do you think we will see in the final? And then who will win it? Share your thoughts in the comment-section.
