Warrior Sports follow up on last years successful début on the European football scene, with Liverpools new home-kit, which the club will be using in the forthcoming season. It lands with the message “Rise Up and The Ground Will Shake” and what that means, can be found out in the article down below, where there are several pictures and a short video.

Last summer Liverpool revealed that they would, from then on, be sponsored by the American sports brand Warrior Sports and their first shirt was warmly received by the clubs fans. Now they are ready to present the always tricky sequel and they couldn't have done a better job. The 2013/14 home-kit draws inspiration from historical Liverpool kits, reminiscent of the clubs glory days, however with the sights firmly set on the future.

The design is inspired by the shirt, which Liverpool wore when the club won their fourth Champions League trophy. Here the older hardcore fans will remember players like Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush and Graeme Souness, who, in 1984, won the coveted big eared trophy. There are distinct resemblances between the two shirts, where especially the stripes on the collar and sleeves are noticeable.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard wasn't slow to compliment the new shirt either:

“The players and I are all genuine fans of the new kit,” he said. “It will certainly spark many happy memories of the Club’s famous fourth European Cup win for supporters of that era. As with all Liverpool shirts, I will wear it with pride and carry the excitement and history of what it represents, and, as a team, we hope to bring that success back to the Club.”

On the chest it has the iconic Liverbird resides, which as a logo has become incredibly popular with the fans, since its introduction last season. The Liverbird guards the city and this is now something the teams players and fans have taken upon themselves to help with the message: “Rise Up and The Ground Will Shake”. Liverpool are among the most successful and traditional football clubs in England and they want things to stay that way.

The shirts quality goes beyond aesthetics, as much thought has gone into the technological production. It is produced with Warrior WarTech-material, which is exceptionally good at transporting moisture away from the body and combined with the shirts athletic cut, it is very comfortable to wear throughout the 90 minutes.
