Real Madrid's Iker Casillas and Alvaro Arbeloa beat Adidas to it, when they posted pictures of their new home kit on Instagram. Now Adidas catch up and show off the new shirt, which has definitely been given a twist, as well as, a new main sponsor. We have naturally had the shirt by our brilliant photographers and the excellent resulting pictures can be seen below.

New season, means a new shirt. The competent hands of Adidas have, once again, been tasked with the job and they have made sure that the king club, where dressed in a regal manner. We now welcome the Madridistas new home shirt, which offers a classic design with a twist and new main sponsor.

Last seasons shirt was of course white and decorated with a dark blue collar, as well as, a very bold v-neck. This is something Adidas have chosen to move away from and Adidas have instead decided to go for a round crewneck, where the detailing is now orange and grey instead. It gives the new Real Madrid home-shirt a really cool, classic look and the previously mentioned twist.

Real Madrid have already made a little video, where Xabi Alonso, Marcelo and Alvaro Arbeloa get in front of the camera wearing the new shirt. You can watch it just above, where extra focus is set on the cheeky little details. If you're quick on the pause button you can even catch a quick glimpse of the new printing, which you will be able to get on the new shirts.

The King Club, will definitely be hungry for revenge, as the 12/13-season was very much one of those 'almost' seasons. José Mourinho will no longer be at the helm of Madrid next season and no matter who we find in the Real dugout next august, much will be demanded of him. Whoever it could be, he can rest assured that his team will be adequately equipped for the campaign.

On the chest there has been a quite noticeable change, as there has been a shift in power on the main sponsor front. Bwin have been replaced with Fly Emirates, which is a brand we know from PSG and Arsenal. The design we know, but we are still quite pleased, as it means that Real Madrid will no longer be playing in blank shirts, when they play their European fixtures.

The shirt has of course been made with Adidas' popular ClimaCool-material, which ensures a comfortable fit. The material wicks sweat and moisture away from the body and keeps the athlete cool and dry. This works wonders for the comfort and with a design as great as this, there is nothing stopping you from wearing this on an everyday basis.
