There’s been a lot of fuzz the last couple of months, when it comes to Manchester City, and now it’s finally official – it’s time to take it to New Levels with Manchester City’s new 2019/20 Home and Away shirts made by PUMA.
For the very first time PUMA will be the official sponsor of Manchester City shirts. This new collaboration is all about celebrating Manchester City, as they won the 2018/19 Premier league season, while celebrating 125 years of history next season.
The new Manchester City 2019/20 Home Shirt is more or less a classic Manchester City shirt, as it comes with the well-known light blue base, while it features purple details. These purple details are not unusual for a Manchester City Home Shirt, as they’ve previously rocked this combo with style, so it’s great to see it back in the Premier League once again. These purple details are spotted on the shirt sponsor, PUMA logo and sleeves, as PUMA are well-known of topping of their design with cool looking sleeves.
To finish off the Manchester Home Shirt, PUMA has added ‘125 years’ underneath the Manchester City crest, which is a reference to their history as a club.

The new Manchester City Away shirt is at first glance just a regular black shirt with some few details. But it’s more that just that. It’s like PUMA has taken the legendary ‘Hacienda’ nightclub in Manchester and placed it on the shirt. A coincidence? I guess not, as it’s time for celebrations in the blue part of Manchester. The new Manchester City 2019/20 Away Shirt features a black base, while blue, yellow and red details are featured as well.
PUMA has added the yellow details on the Etihad Airways logo, while the red is visible on the right cuff and PUMA logo and lastly the blue is placed on the right cuff and Nexen Tires logo. It’s like the flashing lights in the middle of Hacienda, or just like the iconic walls of the night club. Furthermore, a printed yellow and black warning stripe is also visible on the right shoulder, which is a nod to the iconic pillars of the club. So, you can only imagine, that it’s celebration times in Manchester City with these cool new PUMA shirts, when it comes to highlight and celebrate 125 years of history as a club.
