What a day! We are getting some great news from adidas - a sparkling colour update on their boot selection AND a brand new boot. It’s time to welcome the new Predator 20+.
It’s quite a start on 2020 from adidas. We’ve seen some great releases from the Germans already. On the second day of the year they launched the Shadow Beast boots with the dark colours for the winter. Then we got a piece of pure nostalgia with the Predator Archive which gave us a pair of two different boots made for the biggest Predator collectors.
Yes, adidas really knows how to spoil us. And today we will get yet another treat. We will stay in the Predator theme. Because today is the day where we will get the Predator 20+. I think we should take a look at it now. Because - honestly - we can’t wait to tell you about it!

The Predator 20+ is a part of the Mutator launch from adidas. And what a launch! The Predator 20+ will stand out from all other boots with it’s radical looks. The older Predator models had elements on the upper to give you an advantage on the pitch. And the Predator 20+ brings this back to life.
The upper is covered with the new Demonskin spikes to give you the best possibilities of controlling the ball and give it an extra swerve when finishing and making crosses to your teammates. We’ve never seen this before. And adidas calls the 406 spikes on the upper as “100% unfair” because your opponents will just be left behind while you’re controlling the game.
The ‘spike theme’ continues on the soleplate where it can be seen on the heel and on the front part as well. The soleplates are made in a split design like we’ve seen on the old Predator models. And the colours are just stunning. This boot really combines the best of the past and the future.
The sock on the Predator 20+ is longer than we’ve seen previously and the three stripes have been moved to the front of the lateral side of the boots.

There are other Mutator boots at well. The adidas Nemeziz has a very different colour compared to the Predator. Instead of the black and red theme, this one has a white and blue - maybe to complement the cold and frosty times we’re in at the moment.
The adidas X is in the same theme as the Nemeziz. And let’s just take a moment to enjoy the crazy soleplate on this one. If the fresh colour in the upper wasn’t going do it, these studs will definetly make people around you say “wauw”!
Last but not least we have the adidas Copa. The boot with leather in master class is made in the same colour theme as the Predator 20. A dramatic look for a leather boot and it’s definitely something that we’re looking forward to see on pitch.
Actually, we can’t wait to see all of these boots on pitches all around the world. Players like Paul Pogba, Dele Alli, Karim Benzema, Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Paulo Dybala will be using them.
