Performance / On pitch
Training wear
When moving onto the pitch, you have to feel light and warm at the same time. But how is that possible when it’s almost zero degrees outside, you might think. Well, it’s pretty simple. You just need the right training wear. First of all, you would have to have base layer on the inside. The base layer is very important for you to feel comfortable, as it can help you stay dry and warm at the same time. On the outside you would probably need a training shirt or training jacket, as well as some training pants. That’s the basic stuff. But to be fully ready for the cold, you definitely need a pair of player gloves and the latest innovation called snood, which protects your neck, mouth, nose and ears from the cold.
Football boots
Now that we got your training wear covered, we’ll move onto a quite important part of your outfit before stepping onto the pitch. The football boots. Lately we’ve seen some crazy designs and colourways from Nike, and back in August we actually got a brand new boot, called Phantom GT. So the two pairs of boots we want to highlight are the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Elite FG Dream Speed 3 and the Nike Phantom GT Elite. Nike Mercurial is the choice of weapon for some of the biggest stars in football, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Bruno Fernandes, Eden Hazard and Erling Haaland. Just to mention a few. The Phantom GT is also a favourite across some of the biggest stars in football. We could mention Kevin De Bruyne, Kai Havertz, Pernille Harder and Lautaro Martinez - and add some of the biggest talents, such as Mason Greenwood, Phil Foden and Eduardo Camavinga. If those boots aren’t good enough for you, then we are not sure, we can help you.
Training equipment
Now you are ready to step onto the pitch feeling comfortable, keeping warm and looking good. But you still miss something, before it gets really fun. You need some equipment. The most important equipment is of course a football. And to make it even easier for you to see the ball in the dark and grey weather - or even in snowy conditions - Nike have made their famously Hi-Vis balls. When that is sorted out, you might want some training equipment, like agility ladders and training cones. Because it’s not only important to stay in shape. It would be even better, if you could become faster and quicker on your feet - and at last a better football player.
Now you know how good you are able to look on pitch. Afterwards we’ll guide you on how to look cool outside the pitch as well.
