Some of you might remember the first collaboration between Jordan and PSG, where we saw a Nike Vapor & PhantomVSN in black and red - what a beauty. This first collab was three years ago and it has only gone one way and that is UP! Since then we’ve seen different collections and the latest we’ve seen is the colourful 4th shirt 2021, which definitely blew us away.
So, until now we’ve seen this Jordan x PSG collaboration on lifestyle clothes, boots and 3rd and 4th shirts. NOW we’ll finally see it on a home shirt. And that also goes for the ‘Jumpman’ logo replacing Nike’s swoosh.
This shirt calls for the iconic moments. The whole kit is an unique innovation from Nike Jordan and Paris saint Germain. The shirt will replace the classic Hechter stripe with a more toned center, outlined by the same coloured lines as the shirt (navy blue). But fear not, the white/red/white stripes we know, will still be a part of the shirt - it has been moved to the collar, the crew-neck and and to the sleeves.
We’re not done with icons - taking a look at the shorts, just gives us chills. The shorts designed by Jordan are reminiscent of the iconic Chicago Bulls 1996 shorts. You might also know the design as Jordan Diamond. Nike Jordan has put Hechter Striped and Jordan Diamond together and made unique shorts for the Ligue 1 team, PSG.
This home kit is really one of a kind and nothing beats a Jordan x PSG collaboration - we sure love it at Unisport!
