Are you one of the many going wild for Nike’s new 5-a-side football concept NikeFootballX? There is plenty of reason to watch along here, when Joltter and PWG review the two new shoes, Mercurial X Proximo and Magista X Proximo. It’s all about turning football on its head.

The idea behind NikeFootballX is built on raw talent. No rules. Just talent. Raw talent is something we have in Joltter and PWG, who both master football on small-sided pitches. Their technical proficiency is way above the average player and we therefore sent them out to give their thoughts, on what NikeFootballX is all about.

You can find all the new NikeFootballX shoes right here – just 149 euro.

“The Football X collection is a fantastic alternative for players who want the same feel with the ball, as on an 11-a-side pitch. A good combination of close ball contact and durability. Magista is ideal for people with wide feet, while the MercurialX is better for players with narrow feet.” PWG said about Nike’s new collection.

Joltter was a little more sceptical about the change from FC247 to FootballX: “From the moment I heard about FootballX I was a little ambivalent about the whole thing. First and foremost because my beloved Lunar Gato, which are without doubt my favourite indoor- and street shoe, would be replaced by the MagistaX and MercurialX.” Joltter did however go on to say:

“But after having tried the MagistaX a couple of times I can happily conclude that they have many of the best elements from the Lunar Gato – The Lunarlon sole, the wide last and flat sole – just about all the best stuff. These are also for me what makes the new MagistaX good!”

MagistaX or MercurialX – the choice is yours. Find them right here – just 149 euro.
