Umbro really are developing themselves into the kings of cool in my book. These last few months the releases have been coming thick and fast, with the quality being of the very highest order every time. Now they are back for more and ramp up for the new season, with the Umbro Velocita Black/Safety Yellow/White.

The Umbro Velocita collection was recently released in a very flashy neon model and just before that a completely blackouted version. The English brand now bring in the best of both worlds and mix them together in perfect harmony. So now you get that stylish toned down look, but still have a little visual pop on the heel.

The English brands Velocita boot has grown into a bit of an office favourite here at Unisport, with many agreeing that it feels a bit like one of the older F50 models. The same attention to detail has in any case been incorporated and the models features plenty of technological, as well as aesthetic details that sets it apart from the rest.

Easily my favourite one of these visual details is the way the lacing and insole transitions from black to neon, as you move further up the boot. It gives particularly the lacing a unique and vibrant design that goes well with the boots speed boot nature.

Umbro have kicked things up a few gears from the blackouted velocita, but still kept things classy. Needless to say that I’m a fan, but what do you think? Are Umbro gaining ground on the other big brands?
