Earlier this week Umbro unveiled the latest generation of the UX boot in an elegant white/black and neon colourway, which was very well received. Umbro have however been going launch bananas lately and they therefore had no intention of stopping there. Introducing the yin to the launch colourways yang…

They may be the exact opposites of each other colour-wise, but still I can’t help but feel they are a bit the same. Like on the white counterpart the main colourway dominates proceedings, with the pink accent tone only adding a little bit of a contemporary touch.

If I compare the two newly released colourways I would however say that I do prefer the white version of the new UX-2. When brands go for boots with this much black on the upper, I can’t help but feel that it would be cooler to just go all out and entirely blackout them. How about you, which is your favourite?

Umbro have been busy bees these last few months and are really making an impact on the football boot scene once again. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us in the future, because they are really onto something at the moment.
