It’s Monday again. It’s never anyone's favourite day, but luckily the brands are doing their bit to raise the mood, with new PUMA. That does however not mean we don’t have time to lift your spirits even more, with a few of the best boot spots from across the globe. Read along here.

Romelu Lukaku (Everton) - Nike Mercurial Vapor

He can’t seem to make up his mind this fella. Romelu Lukaku has been playing for a while in his generation one Hypervenom, but has now made the switch to an older Vapor colourway. Lukaku seems to be doing whatever he fancies and it will be fun to see if he ever actually finds a boot he will stick to.

Stephen Naismith (Everton) - adidas Ace15

We actually didn't notice this earlier in the season, but it would appear that adidas have signed up Naismith and right about now I’m sure they are pretty pleased they did. He made a serious impact and scored a hattrick, as the Toffees dismantled Chelsea, who are looking very shaky.

Jeremy Lens (Sunderland) - Nike Mercurial Superfly Tech Craft Pack

We have seen more and more players being tempted by the leather touch in the last few weeks, as they got to see the Tech Craft Pack. Jeremain Lens is the next one to give them a swing and I doubt he will be the last.

Christian Benteke (Liverpool) - Nike Tiempo Legend

Saturday evening was one of the biggest derbies in English football, when Liverpool faced Manchester United at Old Trafford. There were so many big stories out of that game, but one of them was definitely the Benteke overhead kick. He was one of the only Liverpool players that could leave the game with his head held high, because his performance was miles above his teammates, who played pretty rubbish. The best overhead kick scored at Old Trafford - or was Rooney’s still better?

Anthony Martial (Manchester United) - Nike Mercurial Superfly

The most expensive teenager ever and by quite some margin too. He did however do a lot to justify that price tag, with an incredible solo goal, where he jinked through three players, before knocking home the goal cool as a cucumber. Now that’s how you endear yourself to the new crowd.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - adidas Messi15.1

Onto a guy who doesn’t need to endear himself to anyone, because he already has. Lionel Messi was hooked up with a new pair of boots last week by adidas, but decided not to use them just yet, as the Blaugrana took on Atletico Madrid. Saving them for the Champions League I suspect.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - Nike Mercurial Superfly

We’ve had all the stars in this round of boot spots and why not finish it all off with one of the biggest. CR7 was on a completely different planet, when he scored 5 goals against Espanyol and actually also racked up an assist too for good measure. Yep, football, he is good at that…

This is what we had in the way boot spots this week. It was a weekend of insane football and I don’t think there was a single bad Premier League game played and the La Liga looked pretty half decent too. Who had the biggest performance this week and who had the coolest boots?
