A new week has begun and we are therefore ready with another round of the hottest boot spots. The CR7 Savage Beauty finally got its debut, but not only on the feet of Cristiano Ronaldo himself. Here is our selection of boot spots, including one very special one at the end…

Yannick Bolasie (Crystal Palace) - Nike Mercurial Superfly IV CR7 Savage Beauty

A popular player here at the office, because you just never know which Mercurial he is going to rock next. We did have our eyes on him this weekend however, because we had a hunch he might rock the CR7 Savage Beauty colourway. He has however had the CR7 logo on the heel removed, so although he liked the colourway he didn’t want to be labelled a fanboy.

James McClean (West Bromwich Albion) - Nike Mercurial Superfly IV CR7 Savage Beauty

We couldn’t quite get a glimpse at the outside of James McClean’s boots, so we don’t know if he has the CR7 logo, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s cool to see some players wearing the Savage Beauty colourway. McClean isn’t the most popular fellow in England currently, for political reasons that we’ll just stay out of, but that doesn’t change that his boots are always on point!

Shinji Okazaki (Leicester City) - Mizuno Basara 101

Shinji Okazaki is one of Mizuno’s biggest stars and continues to knock in the goals in the Basara 101 boots. We love the new colourway, which matches the Leicester kit very well. Which is the best current boot and kit match in the world?

Cheye Alexander (Aldershot) - Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Tech Craft Pack

Everyone's favourite Nike boots, but with a leather upper. It’s no wonder the Tech Craft boots were so popular, because the concept was brilliant. Cheye Alexander from Aldershot seems to agree and although right back isn’t exactly the position you automatically associate with the striker boot, he seems to like it.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Dortmund) - Nike Mercurial Superfly IV Electro Flare

You have never seen a player happier at getting a yellow card. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang celebrated his goal in the Ruhr Derby in style and his new Mercurial boots, which he switched to recently, look to be working very well for him.

Ruben Gabrielsen (Molde FC) - Nike Mercurial Vapor III

Molde are cruising through the group of death in the Europa League, as Celtic, Fenerbahce and Ajax are getting absolutely wrecked by Ruben Gabrielsen and the gang. The massive centreback turned up for the game in a pair of Vapor III, which is a move that you will always get love from us with. Easily one of the best boots ever made if you ask me!

It was a weekend of quality football and quality boot spots too. Ruben Gabrielsen was definitely my favourite, but that’s also because he was wearing the Vapor III. Which was your spot of the week? It doesn’t have to be included here.
