As the weekend draws to an end, so does November and that not only means Christmas is close, it also means that the winter football schedule is nearer than ever. Let’s not get too carried away just yet though, because there was still plenty of amazing football played last week, which also resulted in just as many excellent boot spots. Read along here.

Paul Pogba (Juventus) - Nike Magista Obra Customised

There has been lots of support from the football world following the tragic events in Paris a few weeks back and the latest to show support was the French superstar Paul Pogba. For the last two games he has been wearing a personalised pair of Magista Obra with the French flag. I’m not really a big fan of the design myself, but the message is strong enough that I’ll definitely get behind them.

David Silva (Manchester City) - Adidas Ace Prototype

Well this is something completely new. It’s very common for players to train in prototype boots, so they can test them and send feedback to the brands. David Silva does however look to have enjoyed wearing his new boots so much that we wore them in game action too. It will be exciting to see what adidas have in store for us, because at first glance it just looks a little like the Laceless boot, except obviously with laces.

Cesc Fabragas (Chelsea) - PUMA evoPOWER 1.3 Pop-art

Wow, that was horrible to watch. One of the worst football performances ever, from one of the most talented midfielders. There was way too much “BAM!” and “POW!” on his passes, which almost all seemed awfully misplaced. Can't really blame the boots though, which looked outrageously awesome and are well worthy of a spot in our boot spots

Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) - Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Liquid Chrome

He bloody well did it! Nothing in this world is certain except death, taxes and Jamie Vardy scoring. He scored in the 11th game in a row and broke Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record. His eleventh goal was scored in new boots too, as the Liquid Chrome Pack boots hit the pitches. It’s an amazing achievement from Jamie Vardy and he definitely deserves that party the Leicester fans keep chanting about.

Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester) - Precision Schmeichology Negative Contact

Even though they didn’t get all three points in the top of the league clash against Manchester United, Kasper Schmeichel can still be pleased with his contribution to the result. He was the man who started the counter attack, which led to Jamie Vardy’s record-breaking goal.

Brad Guzan (Aston Villa) - Nike Gunn Cut Custom Wriststrap

Things aren’t going very well for Aston Villa to say the least, but while the performances might be lacking, Brad Guzan still manages to keep his glove game strong. Here he has replaced the traditional wriststrap with a black version, which creates a really nice contrast.

Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) - adidas X15.1

Karim Benzema never shies away from a little controversy, and while he is still under investigation for being on the wrong side of the law, he has probably broken a few adidas rules too. This certainly isn’t a released adidas colourway, so his sponsors in Germany probably won’t be too pleased with him. That being said they look sensational and let’s hope we get to see them officially soon.

Rafinha (Bayern Munich) - Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Liquid Chrome

Rafinha has for the last few months been playing in an old pair of Nike CTR360 Maestri III, but with the release of the Tiempo Legend 6 he has made the switch. I can actually see many of the same qualities in the two boots, so I definitely understand him making the move. Top stuff!

Jesus Navas (Manchester City) - New Balance Furon/Visaro-fusion Impulse Orange

Jesus Navas has been playing in a mixture of the New Balance Visaro and Furon, with the upper being the Visaro, while the soleplate and colourway is the Furon. That you can mix and match is one of the perks of being a pro I suppose. If you could mix two boots, which would they be?

Lots of unique and unreleased boots on display from the world of football, as well as the record breaker Vardy, who we simply had to feature. Have you seen any cool boot spots from the last week that we might have missed? If so, then let us know in the comment-section down below.
