Monday, Monday, Monday! Not everyone’s favourite day, but we are here to liven things up with a round of boot spots. Check it out and see all the best boots from the weekend here:

Mesut Özil (Arsenal) - adidas Ace15.1 Primeknit

Mesut Özil has had a hand in 14 goals in his last 13 Premier League games - two goals and 12 assists.. This dude is on a completely different level this season and his new boots didn’t stop him from doing his thing. He has gone for the Primeknit upper version and stuck to the customised soleplate that he always uses, where there are none of the small studs the adidas Ace usually has.

Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City) - Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Liquid Chrome

The man of the weekend! Jamie Vardy for some reason didn’t feel like scoring on Saturday, which was pretty weird, but that doesn’t matter if Leicester other stand-out performer from this season just takes over. A tidy hattrick that means the Foxes now sit top of the Premier League, which the team then celebrated by jetting to Copenhagen for a pint, while dressed as ninjaturtles. What?

Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) - New Balance Visaro Lava/Fireball

And the winner of the best colourway name of the year is… New Balance!! Their Lava/Fireball boots look sick and we are far from finished showering them with love. Aaron Ramsey celebrated his new boots with a goal that saved the Gunners from what would have been a very bad result.

Gareth Bale (Real Madrid) - adidas X15.1

New boots for Bale and as always he has been given a custom job. His adidas X15 boots are quite a far cry from the original and especially the heel and soleplate have been changed around a lot, which can be seen by the different coloured heel.

Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City) - PUMA evoSPEED & Trusox

Marko Arnautovic was the star of the show, as Stoke dismantled an injury ravaged Manchester City side. There was certainly no slipping in his boots from Arnautovic, who rocked his Trusox while tearing apart Joe Hart.

Jack Butland (Stoke City) - Nike Vapor Grip 3 SMU

In the other end of the pitch was Jack Butland, who kept Man City at bay very well. Here you see Butland wearing his specially made Nike Vapor Grip 3 gloves, where he has added fingersave.

David De Gea (Manchester United) - adidas Ace Zones Pro

David De Gea had to really pull off some extreme saves, when Manchester United met West Ham. The game finished goalless thanks to solid performances from both De Gea and Adrian.

Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich) - adidas X15.1 Leather & Primeknit

Bayern Munich were in complete disbelief, after being stunned by Borussia Mönchengladbach. For the game Thomas Müller played in the newest colourway of the X15, which he always has a leather version. A couple of hours ago however, he showed off a new pair on Twitter, which were the Primeknit version. Maybe he was so dissatisfied with the leather versions performance during the weekend that he has made the switch. It will be exciting to see what he wears in the Champions League games this week in any case.

A weekend of upsets. Everyone who you thought would win ended up losing, except for Leicester, who look like they might be about to pull off the biggest upset of all time. To finish off with, please enjoy Nemanja Matic’s facemask, which he has had customised, because obviously footballers need to have EVERYTHING customised!
