PUMA yesterday evening unveiled the newest Arsenal home-shirt. They did so with a spectacular light-show at the Emirates stadium. This is only the second time PUMA design shirts for The Gunners, but one thing is for sure: They make sure they make a big deal out of it…

… And based on last year’s success it’s no wonder that PUMA have once again invited some of Arsenal’s big PUMA players to present the shirt in front of 1000 lucky fans. The shirt is once again this year made with an incredibly classic look, but with some modern elements to give the shirt some edge, which is actually a pretty good way to describe some of the Arsenal players too.

Arsenal’s players are full of confidence after winning the FA Cup and so are their fans. There are quite a few Arsenal supporters here at Unisport and I asked a couple of them what they thought of the new PUMA design.

“I think it is stylishly clean and that is always nice. Especially the gold detailing gives it a little something extra, which I thought was missing last season”. Said Marius, who before last season kicked off had made a bet with JayMike that Arsenal would finish above Manchester United.

Mathias had not entered any bet, but he is very happy with the Arsenal shirts design. “PUMA have done a very good job on the shirt. The look is dead nice and has little bits of detailing that leads me back to legendary shirts from the late nineties”.

PUMA and Arsenal continue to produce sweet shirt designs together and it will be very exciting what they have in store for the away- and third-shirt. Arsenal fans here at Unisport are very pleased with the result in any case. What do you think about Arsenal’s new shirt?
