This summer is all about taking risks. No matter if you play football with your mates in the backyard, with teammates at your football club, or at the World Cup for your country. You have to be willing to dream big and ready to bet it all to win. And if you don’t fully follow what we mean, then watch along here.

A grand campaign with the title “Risk Everything” culminated this evening in Madrid. Nike tonight presented the world with their new Mercurial Superfly IV, which together with their three other silo’s will represent Nike at this year’s World Cup in Brazil. As an opening statement Nike released an epic 3 minute video on the big screen.

In the video we see how two groups meet on a football pitch. The problem is however that there is only room for one. Therefore they play a game for who gets to stay on the pitch and here is where things really kick off. The young boys may not be competing for a World Cup, but that won’t stop them from thinking big.

The video really underlines Nike’s message of Risking Everything and in this video they really live by the classic saying: “Exaggeration promotes understanding.” Because even though Nike brought with them an armada of superstar footballers, in the shape of CR7, Neymar and Rooney, they also made room for two David Luiz’s, Kobe Bryant and none other than The Incredible Hulk.

And as if those two icons were not enough, there was something little extra nice to look at. And here we are actually not talking about Cristiano Ronaldo’s model girlfriend Irina Shayk, but rather Nikes newest innovations: The Magista Obra and Mercurial Superfly IV.

The two new football boots represents Nikes newest designs, which are made with an upper of Flyknit, as well as the Dynamic Fit Collar. They give footballers a completely new understanding of how football boots work.

Risk Everything completes the campaign that has been running for the last couple of weeks. It represents the innovation-race that has been in full effect these last few months, with the Magista Obra and now also the Superfly 10. Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Rooney have been front figures for the campaign and helped build Nike’s message of Risking Everything.

And what does it mean to risk it all? Well, if you watch Nike’s epic video to the end, then you will get a clear view of how far you need to go, if you want to take things into your own hands and do what it takes to reach the top. One thing is certainly clear after the video; the World’s best footballer is in no way raised above everyone else.

Nike’s new video truly lives up to their own saying of Risking Everything and going the full distance, with a team of superstars from all corners of the world. And even though Irana Shayk probably takes the award for best looking part of the video, the Magista Obra and Mercurial Superfly IV aren’t far behind. What do you think about the newest epic video from Nike? What is your favourite part of the video?
