The Italian superclub AC Milan have together with Adidas launched the clubs new away shirt, which the Milanese will wear in the 2013/14 season. It will once more be with the always elegant white base colour, with gold, red and black detailing, which the Italians will take to the field in. Check out the new awesome shirt here.
AC Milan are a team, who need no introduction. The clubs results in modern European football speak for themselves and the Milanese club now hope this new shirt will spur them on to further glory and add to their already bulging trophy cabinet.
The new away shirt from Adidas is predominantly white and will look sharp around the Italian football stadiums, as well as on the biggest scene of them all, the Champions League. AC Milan once again qualified for the European club footballs most prestigious club trophy.
Earlier this summer we could unveil the new Milan third shirt, which was completely gold, to symbolise the high expectations and hunger for silverware, which a club of Milan's stature always has. On the away shirt there has also been made room for gold, which runs down the sleeve of the shirt, in the shape of the three Adiads stripes still a little more subtle than the third shirt.
There has also been made room for the clubs classic and iconic black and red colours, which elegantly run down each side of the shoulders, forming a V between the classic Milan-badge and Adidas-logo. In the same way a red and black line runs down from the stomach to the bottom of the shirt, which gives a dynamic look, while still keeping the elegance of the white.
Milan are understandably proud of their achievements, but the club is also proud coming from The Boot-country. Therefore there has also been found room for the Italian flag on the shirt. It is placed in the neck and is just one of many of the elegant details, which can be found on this very thoroughly designed shirt.
The shirt is naturally made from the very nice ClimaCool-material, which is designed to keep the body at a comfortable temperature. It does so by transporting sweat and moisture away from the body and out to the outer layers of the shirt, which have been made to dry very quickly.
AC Milans history is long and glorious, something this shirt definitely lives up to and with a design like this it might even earn a place in the clubs museum. Right now however we are just looking forward to seeing it in action, when AC Milan and the rest of the Serie A will try to break the Juventus dominance.
