It’s clear to see that Umbro have some serious love for their Velocita silo. This love is once again affirmed by the newest colour combination for their speed boot. The turquoise, black and red is the fourth update in 2016 and without doubt my personal favourite. Some might think it’s a little to the colourful side, but I’m a huge fan of standing out on the pitch, and that’s definitely something you would do in this fresh combination of colours.
The Velocita is a football boot created for fast-paced footballer, who relies on sharp turns and quick touches. The boot only weighs 169 grams and is therefore among the very lightest boots available. Comfort has also been considered on the design and thanks to the A-frame construction you get a firm fit. That way it feels more natural to pull off the aforementioned changes of direction. Tons of innovation that all results in one of the finest speed boots on the market.
