Drawing inspiration from the motto “Pure Emotion” Puma have now presented the new Borussia Dortmund home-shirt for the 2016/17 season. Get a better look at the new shirt you will see all over Signal Iduna Park next season.

The passion you feel around the stands, when the players walk onto the pitch and you hear the roar from the yellow wall is an experience second to none. The players and fans live and breathe for Borussia Dortmund and every game is an emotional rollercoaster. With the new-look Dortmund home-shirt for the 2016/17 season PUMA look to use this feeling to inspire the players onto bigger and better things, as they hope to break Bayern Munich’s dominance next season.

To challenge for the title might be a little tough though, especially when you consider that their biggest rival keeps buying their players. Mats Hummels is the latest to join Bayern and joins former BVB teammates Mario Götze and Lewandowski. A bit of a shame, but Dortmund have proven they are incredibly good at replacing their superstars and when it all comes down to it, they can always rely on Marco Reus.

“I think what PUMA has developed is absolutely fantastic, I am a big fan of the design with the stripes. I have also talked to some of the boys from the team and they are all very happy with the jersey. We are looking forward to the new season and we will give everything we can” - Marco Reus, BVB superstar winger

They can also always rely on their new kit to deliver the highest levels of performance, when they take to the pitch, because PUMA haven’t held back on the technologies. The shirt is made from an incredibly breathable and soft polyester, as well as being equipped with the PUMA dryCELL technology, which transports moisture from your skin to the outer layers of the shirt to make sure you dry quicker. It’s all on the players to prove they are worthy of the new shirt!

You can order the new Borussia Dortmund home-shirt for the 2016/17 season right here from the 14th of May.
