Nike launch the Pitch Dark Pack

Written by Mathias Boughey-Svendsen

Since 2013 Nike have each summer launched a blackout inspired collection. 2016 is no exception. Nike now unveil the Pitch Dark Pack, but isn’t something missing?

The last couple of years, Nike have almost made it a set tradition to release a blackout collection during the summer. Now they have chosen to introduce the 2016 version, which they have dubbed the Nike Pitch Dark Pack. Just like the previous years the collection is made up of almost entirely black boots, except for small hints of accent colour.

And as you have probably already noticed by now, there is a silo missing in this presentation blog - and that’s not because we have forgotten it. Nike have intentionally chosen to leave out the Magista. That naturally invites a lot of speculation, but you won’t get us to say, what we know you’re all thinking…

You can buy the new Nike Pitch Dark football boots right here.

Instead, let’s rather focus on what’s actually on the pictures. The Mercurial, Tiempo and Hypervenom will all be available for FG (grass), AG (Artificial grass), SG-PRO (Wet grass), so you have all the options in the world, when looking at new Pitch Dark Pack.
