The popular X 15.1 model is now fusioned with the innovative Primeknit technology, which has resulted in a boot that developed purely to accommodate the needs of the modern football player. The end product is a boot that feels like a sock, where fit and ball handling are in a league of its own, abilities that most players long for. The Lycra ensures an extremely flexible upper, that will move with your feet to provide a sock like fit. Adidas have coated the woven Primeknit upper with an ultra thin 3D layer. The thin layer adds a soft touch, and provides better ball control in all weather conditions. All together it adds extra strength and durability. A boot with ultimate fit Similar to the Primeknit 2.0, the X 15.1 Primeknit has been designed with a compression fit technology, to provide the best and most tight fit. A specially designed “compression tongue”, made from Lycra and extra padding, folds on the middle of your feet - to ensure maximum lockdown. Besides the upper and the tongue, the X 15.1 Primeknit has maintained the same technologies as the popular X 15.1 boot. A snug fit and maximum stability In order to be dynamic and agile throughout the entire match you will need the right stability. The innovative X-Cage wraps around your foot and delivers just the right stability. The X-Cage is located on the sides of the boot, and provides increased support as you lace up your boot nice and tight, resulting in optimal lockdown. In addition, adidas have equipped the X 15.1 with a Techfit collar, which delivers a tight compression fit around your ankle, which provides more dynamic support and a closer fit. The right mix of explosiveness and stability The X 15.1 is equipped with the brand new adidas X-Claw outsole construction. This X-Claw construction is extremely light and delivers torsion integrity, to further add to the stability of the boot. However, the specially shaped studs ensure that you can still produce an explosive toe off and acceleration across the surface.
