The shoe is made with an upper of lightweight mesh, which is further coated with asymmetrical layers running across the midfoot. This combination makes sure you get a supportive and adaptive fit, resulting in a shoe that moves naturally with your foot, when you run. In addition the mesh upper helps keep the weight at an absolute minimum.
The shoes opening is coated with a soft foam material, which increases comfort, while also helping keep your foot in place inside the shoe. The inner heel counter also helps embrace the heel and give a tight and secure fit.
Air Zoom Fly 2 is, as the name implies, made with a Zoom unit in the front foot, which gives good shock-absorbency and a low profile. In addition the Dynamic Support technology, that you find in the mid sole, provides you woth light stability, without unnecessary weight being added. The mid-sole is furthermore made with a special foam, which increases shock-absorbency and comfort during your run. The outsole is crafted with flex-grooves, which provides a natural and effective movability.
Nike Air Zoom Fly 2 is made with an 8mm heel to toe drop.
