It is a perfect alternative for you who wants a classic ankle protection, without having the shin pads or ankle protectors getting to big or heavy, which are seen on the classic shin pads. Nike has been very innovative and has lifted this part of the protection to almost unseen heights.
The protectors are made so they comfortably and automatically slide in place, when you put your foot into them. The material is made from a soft and stretchable material, which fits tight to the foot and gives protection where it is needed.
