The league championship trophy can be seen at our Unisport Flagship Store until March 30th. After that, the trophy will once again make its way to Bodø in preparation for the start of the men's league. Norwegian Cup Final Trophy

The Norwegian Cup, called "Norgesmesterskapetor", also known as "cupen", holds significant tradition in Norway.

Women´s EURO 1993 Trophy

In 1993, the Norwegian women could once again call themselves European champions. Birthe Hegstad scored the game's only goal five minutes before the end.

Norway has qualified for every European Championship since UEFA first organized it in 1984 and won it twice, 1987 and 1993, and been in the final six times. In April 2024, another EC qualification begins for the women's national team. Could 2025 be the year Norway once again secures a medal in a championship?

Rekdal´s Shirt & Boots and Emerson's Shirt from the World Cup 1998

We write the year 1998: The Norwegian national men's team competes in the World Cup in France. In front of 60.000 spectators, Norway faces Brazil in the final group stage match at Stade Vélodrome in Marseille. The match is often referred to as the "Miracle of Marseille," and most people can probably remember where they were or what they were doing on this particular evening. Norway wins the match 2-1 and advances to the round of 16. This is Rekdal's jersey from this historic match, and the recognizable yellow boots he wore to score the decisive penalty just before the end of the game. The Brazil jersey is Emerson's shirt from the same match.

Norway National Team Jersey from 1938

In 1938, Norway participated for the first time in a World Cup. At that time, there were no group stages, only straight knockout rounds. Norway's journey ended after just one match, being eliminated in the preliminary rounds after a 1-2 loss to Italy.

There is a significant difference between the national team jersey from 1938 and the high-tech jerseys worn by our top players today.

Erik "Myggen" Mykland's jersey from the 1994 World Cup

Erik "Myggen" Mykland was a central figure in the national team and Norwegian football during the 1990s. He is particularly known for his technical skills on the field. The jersey here is one of the jerseys "Myggen" wore during the 1994 World Cup in the USA.

In 1994, the Norwegian men's national team qualified for a World Cup finals for the first time in 56 years. There were high expectations for the team. Unfortunately, Norway did not progress from the group stage, and Kjetil Rekdal scored Norway's only goal in the tournament, as the team defeated Mexico 1-0.

Very Old Football Boots

The exact date of these boots is uncertain, but there are not many similarities between today's modern football boots and these old football boots from the NFF archive.

Hege Riise´s Shirt from the Olympic Final 2000

The Norwegian women's national team has enjoyed significant international success, winning both the European Championship and the World Cup. One might think there wasn't much more to win, but there was. Norway has also won Olympic gold!

During the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, the Norwegian women once again made history. In the final, they faced the USA. The score was tied 2-2 after regular time, and the match went into extra time with the "golden goal" rule, where the first goal scored would decide the winner. Dagny Mellgren secured the victory for Norway with her goal in the 102nd minute. The match and the Olympic gold are remembered as one of Norway's greatest sporting moments.

Drillo´s Rain Boots

Egil "Drillo" Olsen coached the Norwegian national men's team during its glory days in the 90s. He eventually became known for wearing rubber boots out on the training field.
