New season, new home shirt - Premier League season 2021/22 will begin soon and Arsenal will be ready with their new home shirt! Get to know the story behind the design, and take a look at it down below!

LOCAL TO GLOBAL - Arsenal aren’t only for the local fan or the season ticket holders. Arsenal are for everyone!

Arsenal Home shirt 2021/22

The new home shirt for Arsenal is inspired by the 1998/99 home shirt. With the new shirt, adidas are telling the story of the club’s diversity and equality program - more specifically with the logo ‘Arsenal for Everyone’ inside the collar. This logo is also inside the collar on their 2021/22 away shirt. The whole initiative was launched back in 2008 to promote diversity.

It’s a fresh new look for the Gunners - the shirt is mainly red with white sleeves and side panels. The red colour returns to the same red that was used on the 2018/19 season, compared to the one from 2020/21, which had a slightly darker shade of red.

And for the first time since adidas’ return to the club, the 3 stripes on the shoulders are navy, instead of white. But that’s not all, the navy colour is also to be seen on the collar, the sleeve cuffs and the Visit Rwanda logo. The adidas logo and Emirates sponsor logo are both white.

We can’t wait to see this shirt in action - and see Aubameyang, Lacazette and Saka in action! Hopefully they’ll turn things around and show the world that they’re still one of the best teams in England.
