Is it the World Best Football store? Well maybe not officially, but just about anyone who visits it tends to agree. The football spirit is very much alive there and at the moment we have an unique Nike Mercurial display, which you can get a feel for here.

Not everyone has had the chance to visit our new Flagship Store on Strøget in Copenhagen. That doesn’t mean we are going to rob you of the chance to get a glimpse at some of the things we have going on there. When we opened the store back in December it with a very special Messi/adidas exhibit taking centre stage. Now it’s Nike’s turn to shine, as we have created a tribute to probably their most iconic football boot, the Mercurial silo.

The Nike Mercurial was presented to the world back in 1998. If you were old enough to experience it back then or not, you might still know how Nike introduced the Mercurial to the world and the rest is, as they say, history. There have been several iconic Mercurial boots since the first one worn by R9 and we have gathered them all on our wall in the Flagship Store. Enough to make any boot collector lose their mind!

On the wall there are connected touch screens, where we provide visitors with a comprehensive history of each boots from the first Mercurial to the current Mercurial Superfly IV. We have previously made a little blog post inspired by our exhibit, which trails the development from Superfly I to Superfly IV. You can read it here.

If you don’t have the chance to visit the store yourself, then you can swipe through the images above and get a feel for it there.

You can also shop our selection of Nike Mercurial football boots right here.
