Ronaldo vs. Messi. Without a doubt the biggest rivalry in recent football history. So big in fact that it even extends to the boots they wear. The question is, who has the best looking one?
Whether Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi is the better player, is simply not a discussion I want to start here. However, one discussion that I will gladly take is which of the two superstars has the best looking football boots. Both have recently been given new boots and they certainly give each other a run for their money.
About a year ago, Messi had an entire silo dedicated to him, and around the same time Cristiano was given his very own series of signature boots. Ever since they have been competing for dominance, not only in terms of goal scoring records and trophies, but boots too. So the question is; do you prefer the Messi 16+ PureAgility or the Nike Mercurial Superfly V CR7 Discovery?
When the adidas Messi PureAgility Space Dust was introduced a few weeks back, I must admit I was pretty blown away. I love the way adidas have designed the bottom of the boot, where the green sole seems to be creeping up the boot. However, with the presentation of the newest Mercurial Superfly CR7 chapter, I don’t know what to think anymore. My loyalty to the Messi boots has been seriously shaken.

I have to admit that in the end I would probably end up choosing CR7’s Mercurial Superfly Chapter 3: Discovery. And even though the Messi PureAgility Space Dust really swept me off my feet at the time, I have moved on to CR7. Guess that shows how loyal I am…
