How does the shoe go on?

Pull on and go: Nike Flex Runner 4

A flexible, bootie-like design makes it easy to pull on. Pull tabs on the heel and tongue work with a stretchy inner sleeve. Elastic straps run behind the heel and across the top of the foot to hold it snug.

Underfoot, flex grooves let the foot move naturally, and soft, springy foam cushions each step. The outsole has multisurface traction. Foam wraps around the heel for grip and stability when kids change direction.

Elastic laces and a strap: adidas Runfalcon 6 Velcro

Elasticised laces work together with a hook-and-loop strap, so the shoe slips on and off without fuss. The mesh upper has no-sew reinforcements at the toe and heel. A Cloudfoam midsole adds extra cushioning.
